About

Hi, this is Rosie Horner and I am glad you found your way to this site. This is a newly inspired site that aims to help showcase some of the amazing baby boomers I have met in person or online. I hope to have videos, audios and some articles.

Now, I told you about me as Blogging Betty Boomer, but to give more disclosure here is a tad bit about me as Rosie Horner. I ripped this off from my website.

Rosemary Calhoun-Horner will help you to maximize your competence with caring communications. She does this with dynamic keynotes, insightful training and empowering presentation skills coaching.

A thought provoking author, she has developed an expertise in speaking, listening, laughter and encouragement. She has several publications that are valuable learning tools and empowering resources for anyone who needs them.

She is also an intuitive facilitator and entertaining mistress of ceremony.

As a presentation skills coach she powerfully connects clients to their purpose, passion, and potential.

Her keynote style is memorable. She jumps into her message with a feverish pace that radiates infectious energy. She inspires the minds and hearts of her audience with stories, humor and challenging content. Each of her customized presentations become an inspiring event

She has a BA in Sociology from the College of St. Elizabeth, NJ. and a Masters of Science Degree from the University of Massachusetts. As a Community Health Educator she has over 25 years of experience in the Health Care Industry. And her years working in corporate settings as a Trainer have added to her unique ability to reach people from diverse work settings.

She a professional member in The National Speakers Association and ATM in Toastmasters International.

Ok, now that you know a little more about me, allow me to introduce you to my hubby of 31 years in Feb. 2009. His name, as many of you know, is Raymond Horner, Jr. A baby  boomer artist. And yes, he will be interviewed on this site.

My mom is Sarah Calhoun and she is 82 in April.  She is from Georgia and I always wished I was from there also. Just love Georgia folks. She raised me as a single mom with the Lord’s help.

Ok, anything else you want to know , except for credit card information just let me know. I can even tell you about surgeries.  I hope and pray I don’t have to tell you about any of them in the future.

So, to all the babyboomers reading this,  hang in there, hang out there and don;t allow your self to be hung!
