Life Transition Expert- Eileen Williams

M. Eileen Williams has over eighteen years combined experience as a career and life transition counselor, workshop facilitator, university instructor, and writer. As a Nationally Board Certified Counselor with a Master’s Degree in Career Development, she specializes in working with individuals facing career and life planning issues. Over her career, she’s helped thousands of midlife women to deal with concerns that surface during this life-stage and has assisted them to make informed, successful, and rewarding life choices.

Based on her professional experience, she recognizes the challenges and gifts of growing older as a female in this society. Personally, she shares the lifetime experiences and generational themes of women in her age group.

In addition to her one-on-one counseling, Eileen has presented hundreds of seminars and workshops in corporate, community, and university settings. Most recently, her topics include “Embracing Life on the Feisty Side of Fifty,” “Baby Boomers—Rebels With Many Causes,” “Mars/Venus: The Riddle of Rapport,” “The Prime of Your Life: A Workshop of Self-Discovery and Renewal for Women 50-65,” and “Menopause: A Woman’s Journey to Wholeness.”

As a writer, she seeks to engage her gender and generation and encourage them to value the many joys inherent to becoming women of “a certain age.” To these ends, she has written humorous stories that are included in Chicken Soup for the Soul in Menopause and Boomer Women Speak. Her blog, Feisty Side of Fifty, is ranked number one for “baby boomer women over fifty” on Google, Yahoo, and MSN. Eileen also hosts an Internet radio show, Feisty Side of Fifty Radio, and will soon be introducing a range of products that will allow women over fifty to “flaunt their feistiness.”

Lastly, Eileen heartily believes in celebrating one’s advancing years with spirit, sass, gratitude, and humor and, through her counseling, speaking, and writing, she encourages others to do the same.
